Before the mega-fame of Bad Bunny and J. Balvin Menudo, a Puerto Rican boy band, owned the global spotlight and laid the foundation for future Latin artists during the 70s and 80s where their popularity had a serious influence on youth culture. To celebrate HBO’s release of a new Menudo docuseries we crafted a float for the Puerto Rican Day Parade and marched down 5th Ave. with actor, Louis Guzman, at the helm. Guzman also acted as host, interviewing parade attendees and celebs like poet Lemon Andersen, and rapper Fat Joe for our content piece recapping the day. During the parade we handed out a variety of custom, co-branded products and information about the show to raise awareness for the forthcoming documentary.
